Convenience Stores at Incheon Airport: Where They Are, What They Solve

The humble CU or GS25 is the most useful shop in the airport: T-money cards, cash top-ups, balance refunds, and real-price snacks β€” and the ones near arrivals run 24 hours.

Store Locations by Terminal

Terminal 1

  • ● Arrivals floor (1F): CU near Exit 2, Exit 5, and Exit 11 β€” the closest stores when you walk out of customs. 24-hour operation.
  • ● B1 public area: GS25 on the west side, near the food court level.
  • ● Departures (3F), landside: CU near Check-in Counter H.
  • ● Departures (3F), airside: GS25 near Gates 45–46, open around the clock for red-eye flights.

Terminal 2

  • ● B1 Transportation Center: CU, 24 hours β€” the dependable option for arriving passengers heading to buses or AREX.
  • ● Arrivals floor (1F): store in the central public area, plus a 7-Eleven in the public arrivals zone.
  • ● Departures (3F), landside: one store before security.
  • ● Airside: 24-hour stores in both the east and west wings.

The 4 Things Travelers Actually Do There

  4. Eat at city prices β€” convenience store pricing is standardized nationwide, so it's the only food in the airport that costs the same as downtown Seoul.

Landing After Midnight?

The arrivals-area stores are the anchor of a late-night landing: open 24 hours for a T-money card, cash top-up, and food while you wait for the first train (~5:15 AM) or the night bus. Occasionally a store runs out of basic T-money cards overnight β€” the NAMANE and WOWPASS kiosks in the terminal are the backup, and both work as transit cards.

What They Can't Do

  • βœ•Recharge T-money with a credit card β€” top-ups are Korean Won cash only, no exceptions. (T-money in Apple Wallet is the workaround for iPhones.)
