Can you buy a T-money card at Incheon Airport?

Yes, absolutely. T-money cards are available at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Most travelers buy them at convenience stores (CU, GS25, 7-Eleven) located on the Arrival floor or B1 floor.

Note: The card itself costs 3,000 to 5,000 KRW and is sold empty. You MUST recharge it with cash before using it for the bus or subway.

Where to buy it at Incheon Airport

Terminal 1 (T1)

  • ● CU Convenience Stores: Located near Arrivals Exit 5 and 10.
  • ● GS25 Convenience Stores: Located near Arrivals Exit 12.
  • Subway Station: T-money vending machines at the entrance to the AREX train.

Terminal 2 (T2)

  • ● Convenience Stores: Check the B1 floor (Transportation Center).
  • 7-Eleven: Located in the public area of the arrival floor.
  • Subway Station: Vending machines near the AREX platforms on B1.

Can you recharge T-money at the airport?

Yes. You can recharge your card at any of the convenience stores mentioned above or at the Ticket Vending and Card Reload machines inside the airport subway station (AREX).

Remember: Recharges are CASH ONLY. There are plenty of ATMs and currency exchange booths at Arrivals if you need Korean Won.

Should you buy it at the airport or in Seoul?

We highly recommend buying it at the airport. If you plan to take the Airport Limousine Bus or the All-Stop AREX train, you will need the card immediately. While you can buy paper tickets for the bus, having a T-money card makes your entire journey much smoother.

Best option for late-arrival tourists

If you arrive after 11 PM, some convenience stores might be sold out of basic T-money cards. In this case, look for the "NAMANE Card" or "WOWPASS" kiosks, which also function as transit cards and are often available 24/7.
