What is T-Money?
T-Money is a rechargeable transit card used across South Korea for buses, subways, and some taxis. It also gives you a small discount compared to buying individual tickets. Every traveler to Korea should have one.

At the Airport
CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven at Incheon Airport T1 and T2. Buy one before you board the AREX or limousine bus.

How to Recharge T-Money
⚠️ Cash only — credit cards are not accepted for recharging.
- Walk to the cashier at any CU, GS25, or 7-Eleven
- Show your card and say "Chung-jeon" (recharge)
- Hand over Korean Won cash
- Place the card on the reader and wait for the beep
How to Use T-Money
Tap your card on the yellow reader when boarding buses or entering subway gates. Tap again when exiting to calculate the correct fare. The card works on all Seoul Metro lines, city buses, and intercity buses across Korea.
